Now I am really excited to tell you about their incredible figurine called The Thomas Kinkade Woodcarving Santa!
This is designed by Painter of Light Thomas Kinkade! Santa carves a nativity scene with background narration by the renowned artist himself. The scene is sculpted from polyresin and handpainted in meticulous detail, including the wrinkles on Santa's forehead, an overflowing bag of presents, and the block of wood in his hand being transformed into one of the three magi.
Behind Santa, a miniature recreation of Kinkade's famous Victorian Christmas II can be illuminated by its gallery lamp. The Christmas tree has built-in multicolored LEDs nestled among the rich, green foliage that gives off a sparkling twinkle. The resin display is painted to look like mahogany and has a brass title plaque. It also comes with a hand numbered certificate of authenticity.
My Review...
Since I have a Thomas Kinkade painting above my piano I knew this would look amazing under it. This figurine is very high quality and the detail is fantastic! I love the colors and my favorite part is that the Santa is carving a nativity. A flip of a switch invokes the famed artist's voice telling the beautiful story about the birth of Jesus. The lit up flame inside the fireplace really makes you feel like you are there as you listen to the story being told. The painting above the fireplace is also incredible! I really like that the brass title plaque on the front is engraved with... "The True Meaning of Christmas". Not only does my family love this, but it will be a precious heirloom to hand down for generations to come!
