About Urbanity...

Our beginning

Urbanity began after President/Design Director, Meghann Kopecky got married. She and her husband could not find a wedding invitation that represented their special day and reflected the elegance of the event. The couple decided to make their own invitations and little did they know that it would start Meghann down a path of creating a design firm specializing in stationery, invitations, and announcements.

Four years after Meghann got married, she decided to move the business from a part-time venture to a full-time business. The company was officially launched May 2006.

Growing Reputation

A year and a half after Urbanity's official launch, the company's most popular product, the Message in a Bottle, was selected as one of Oprah's Favorite Things in her October Issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. Shortly thereafter, Urbanity began doing corporate work for companies such as MTV Networks and BET Networks and the University of Utah. The company has also had the privilege of working with individuals around the world through Urbanity's current products as well as creating custom products for customer's special events.

Urbanity Today

At the end of May, Urbanity celebrated its third birthday. The company has continued to grow and strives to help each and every customer make their special event or announcement unique, stylish and refined (and in some cases, just plain fun).
