Sometimes it is so hard to stay positive. Recently, my siser who lives a state away was angry b/c me and my adult kids (in college) could not drive to their house for Thanksgiving. I suggested that she and her husband come here rather than the 8 of us driving to her home from 3 different locations. She said, "Your house is too small for everyone and I have to bring my poodles." That hurt. Trying to stay positive I said, "There are many families that do not have big homes (like yours) and they still manage to have a Thanksgiving dinner." Did that sink in? Probably not but I, at least, kept my cool. (and tried not to choke her judgemental neck over the phone) OK. I'm positive. Really.

My favorite scripture has always been the most known: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall believeth in him will not perish but have everlasting life."
