Thanks to RandomLine we got to review their newest game Squiggle Connect and also Hurry Up! . We have been having lots of fun playing these games at my house! Playing Squiggle Connect has even helped my drawing skills. I actually drew a cute little baby giraffe and you could even tell what it was :) The Hurry Up! game is a fun dice game that keeps you rollin!
SQUIGGLE® Connect Game – Ages 8 to 108 SQUIGGLE CONNECT is a hilarious drawing game where players compete by changing a wiggly and wacky line into a picture that tells a story. No artistic talent re quired.
It all starts with a roll of the “dot” cube and then the dots are connected by random lines using the “conn ect” cube. Players then have 60 seconds to transform their wacky line into a picture that tells a story. Next, players explain their drawing and voting begins. Each player votes on other players drawings using descriptive voting cards. This is where the real fun begins! The voting cards offer either a descriptive praise or a nuance of criticism. Each card also has a point value and players give them to each other based on their picture. It’s hysterical!
Hurry Up!TM The Dice Game – Ages 8 and Up
Hurry Up is the all new, fast moving dice game. Players compete to get the highest scores, but you better Hurry Up because the clock is ticking. You have 30 seconds to complete each challenge. If you are successful you receive the challenge points, plus add up the total of your dice for more points. If not, sorry you get no points! Hurry Up is a fun dice game you can play just about anywhere.
Thanks RandomLine for the great games you have out!
About Random Line:
RandomLine, Inc. was created in 2002 by a dad who loves to play, John Kiely. His goal is to offer products that encourage children to be creative and use their imagination. No Noise. No Batteries. Simply Imagination is RandomLine’s motto.
While sitting in New Jersey traffic during his hour commute to and from work, he had the idea to create a game based on doodling. He created a prototype of his first game called SQUIGGLE®. Kiely decided to use his12 years of consumer product & packaging development experience and expertise in industrial design to start his own company.
After attending the 2003 American International Toy Fair in New York with his new product, he established his first big customer, Wizards of the Coast. Since then, RandomLine has successfully created and launched a line of games and activity pads that can be found in over 1500 toy stores, gift shops, museums, zoos and aquariums, as well as Canada and Europe.
Kiely receives a lot of support from his two children who help test his products and ideas. Besides helping with testing, his children are his inspiration. Kiely’s wife also assists in the business as she brings over 16 years of marketing experience in the educational publishing industry.
