Both the CD and the program that goes along with it focus on the spiritual symbolism of the pioneers' journey and how those messages reach deep into our own personal journeys. Jenny says "I wanted this project to be a powerful and deeply spiritual reminder of the journey we are on in this mortal life. We prepared for ages for this mortal journey. But now that we are here, it is easy to become distracted and lose sight of where we are traveling to. I have taken a great spiritual journey the last few years of my life that has helped me keep my eyes more riveted on the Celestial Kingdom. I hope this CD can help others along their own spiritual journey and help their steps be pointed in a more direct course to joy and peace."

I love anything to do with handcart pioneers. A few years ago we got to take our ward youth to Martin's Cove. It was an unbelievable experience. So sacred.

I LOVE Jenny Phillip's music! Much of of Stake YW memory centers around her music. I had the opportunity to communicate with her a few times as we organized a stake YW Fireside that she put on. She is a sweetheart!
